Depression Treatment

Gain wisdom through understanding the pain of our struggles

Do You Feel Lost, Lonely and Confused?

Do you feel sad or hopeless and wonder if you will ever feel happy again?

  • Does your day-to-day life make you feel exhausted?
  • Do you often say things you do not mean or make decisions that are not good for you because you feel depressed?
  • Perhaps you have experienced the physical symptoms of depression, such as exhaustion, lethargy, digestive issues, back pain, and headaches.
  • Do you wish you could feel happier and have more peace in your life?

If you are overwhelmed with feelings of sadness, you may not know what is happening to you. It’s possible that you have started to question the purpose, direction, or meaning of your life. Even though you interact with others throughout the day, you may still feel empty and lonely inside and out. It may take all the effort and energy you have just to complete the smallest tasks like household chores. Even when your friends ask you for a favor, you may not have the energy or desire to help because you feel dragged down by the burden of your sadness.

You Are Not Alone With Feelings Of Sadness

One out of every ten Americans struggles with mild or moderate depression symptoms. While this is a common ailment, there are many causes for depression, such as a crisis or painful event, a major life transition, a biological predisposition, trauma, or a significant loss. In our culture today, we lead very stressful lives, and it’s difficult to find the time to enjoy life, find meaning, and cultivate relationships with people who care for us. Instead, we may find ourselves under constant pressure to perform, to be perfect, or to fulfill unspoken expectations. We may often lose ourselves and feel lost, alone, and disconnected from our own life experiences. The good news is that depression treatment with a licensed mental health professional can help you find a way to reconnect with yourself and experience the joy in life once again.

Build A Path Toward Happiness And Peace With Depression Treatment

During compassionate and non-judgmental depression treatment sessions, I will tailor an individualized plan, using therapy techniques and treatment options that work best for you, like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Attachment Therapy, and Somatic Experiencing, to name a few, and relieve you of the burden of sadness, negative emotions, and other depression symptoms to support your healing process. In order to provide the best depression treatment possible, our sessions may start out working with one modality, such as talk therapy, and end up with a different one depending on your needs – a major benefit of working with an integrative therapy model. The more we work through the depression treatment process, you will have the chance to gain greater control and a deeper understanding of your mind/body experience.

I will deeply listen to the thoughts that stream through your mind and the emotions in your heart in order to find your path to peace while treating depression.

Even though your pain may feel inescapable, you always have hope for healing. With depression treatment and my different healing modalities, you can remove the burden of sadness and start living a joyful and meaningful life.

You may be interested in depression treatment, but you still may have some questions and concerns…

I’ve been to therapy and I don’t want to revisit the past.

We don’t need to revisit the past, although it may be helpful, sometimes it’s best to work with what you are currently struggling with today.  During depression treatment, I will instead focus on understanding your triggers to depressed thought patterns. In addition, as you deeply listen to the energy through your body, you can begin to gain insight about how you struggle and how to cope.

I’ve heard depression treatment can cost me a lot of time, money, and energy.

Depression treatment does not need to be a long process because the modalities we can work with, like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment, ACT, and Somatic Experiencing, to name a few, can help facilitate your mental health healing on many levels, often allowing you to move through your issues, find resolution, and joy in your life. My goal as a therapist is to be a catalyst for your healing process so you experience the freedom of feeling balanced quickly. After every depression treatment session, I will talk about what was helpful and the tools and skills you need to support the change you want to see in yourself. You always have the option to come back and to resolve a new issue or to further refine the healing process.
