Welcome to The Therapy Space.
Somatic therapy works by using physical exercises that provide insight as to how your body copes with stress, anxiety, and other difficult circumstances. I will essentially read your body’s reaction as you dwell on the topics causing you pain, and use exercises accordingly to promote relief.
I will walk you through breathing exercises, meditation, breathwork, or whatever I deem may be successful for you, and use the reaction of your body to put together a healing plan to get you from a place of pain to a place of joy and peace.
Somatic therapy has even proven successful for patients struggling with intense trauma, such as that of PTSD, abuse, chronic pain, or life-altering accidents and illnesses.
